Once upon a time… There was a place called the Land of the Fluffy
, nestled among soft mountains in the shade of cotton clouds . Its most magnificent structure was a giant, snow-white Pillow Castle . Ruled by the Fluffy King, a king with a round belly and a smile as soft as a pillow.
One day, a strange humming noise was heard around the castle. Even the gentle wind was disturbed.
“Duuuuuuuf!”
Then a vibration spread through the forest. The Fluffy King immediately climbed to his tower and saw the Blanket Monsters approaching from afar . They weren’t actually called monsters, because they didn’t harm anyone; they just had the strange habit of wrapping themselves in other people’s blankets when they were cold.
But that day they were coming as a whole army!
The Fluffy King panicked:
— Oh my! They’re going to wrap up all the pillows in Pillow Castle! Where are we going to sit?
The king quickly gathered his soldiers. They wore armor made of soft feathers and used giant fluffy pillows instead of swords . Because in the Land of the Fluffy, battles never hurt—at most, they caused laughter.
Commander Tüytoş shouted:
— Soldiers! Prepare to defend the Pillow Castle! Pillows up!
When the Blanket Monsters approached the castle, they made woofy noises and tried to hug them. They hadn’t actually come to fight, just to stay warm. But the Fluffys didn’t understand.
Suddenly, the Great Pillow Castle War has begun!
The fluffy soldiers lifted their soft pillows into the air and threw them at the Blanket Monsters with a poof! poof! sound. The monsters couldn’t stand the softness of the pillows and pretended to fall to the ground, then they started to be tickled.
— Hahahahaaa! Wait, this is too soft!
Just then, the smallest Blanket Monster, Mini-Mini Blue, appeared. Her eyes were filled with tears.
— We’re cold… That’s why we came to hug. We didn’t want to fight…
The Fluffy King was surprised:
“Really? Why didn’t you tell me first?”
— Because you quickly threw a pillow… We were scared too.
The king was embarrassed and immediately smiled softly:
“Then there has been a big misunderstanding! We’ll share our pillows, but let’s be friends first.”
And then the doors of Pillow Castle opened. The Fluffys shared their pillows with the monsters, and the monsters spread out their enormous blankets on the floor. They all sat together, drank hot chocolate, and spent the night wrapped up in their blankets, watching the stars.
At the end of that day, it was understood that the Battle of Pillow Castle was not a war, but the largest mass hug feast in history .
And so peace was restored to the Land of the Fluffy.
The fairy tale ends here; all that remains is a small pillow poof sound:
Poof!
