Once upon a time…
In the middle of the vast savannas, under the shade of huge trees, lived Little Elephant Mimo . Today was a very special day for him; because it was Mimo’s first day with the herd .

When Mimo woke up in the morning, she excitedly shook her trunk.
“What will I learn today?” she wondered.

Her mother approached her with a smile and
said, “Today you will learn to listen, to share, and to be patient.”

First Lesson Listening

When the herd started walking, Mimo immediately wanted to go to the front. But the old wise elephant spoke softly:
“First you must learn to listen, little elephant.”

Mimo stopped and listened. The birdsong, the whisper of the wind, the footsteps of the other elephants…
At that moment, she realized that listening was the first step to learning .

Second Lesson Sharing

They came to a clear puddle of water on the way. Mimo was very thirsty, but then he saw a little zebra behind him.
He scooped up water with his trunk and shared it with the zebra.

Zebra smiled with joy.
Mimo’s heart warmed. That day she learned that sharing brings happiness .

Lesson Three Being Patient

As the walk progressed, Mimo grew tired. He wanted to arrive quickly, but his mother said,
“Everything takes its time.”

Mimo slowed down, took a deep breath, and counted her steps.
Soon they reached the shade of a large tree. It was then that she understood that patience leads to beautiful things .

End of the Day

When evening came, Mimo hugged her mother and
said, “I learned so much today.”
Her mother smiled and said,
“Your first day was wonderful.”

As Mimo closed her eyes, she thought:
If I listen, I will learn; if I share, I will be happy; if I am patient, I will grow.

And the little elephant has fallen asleep with a sweet smile
