In a faraway land, high in the sky, lived a tiny star called Little Star . The other stars were bright and large, but Little Star shone like a mere whisper in their presence.
One night, Little Star sighed and
thought, “I wish I were as bright as them.”
At that moment, the wise Grandmother Moon approached her and
said softly, “Every light is important. What matters is not how brightly you shine, but how you use your light.”
Little Yıldız didn’t quite understand those words, but she kept them in her heart.
That night, in a small village on Earth, there was a child who was afraid of the dark. The sky was very dark because of the clouds. The light of the big stars was hidden behind the clouds. But Little Star, however small, did not hide its light at all. It shone with all its might.
A tiny light pierced the darkness. The child looked out the window and smiled:
“Look, Mommy! There’s a star twinkling in the sky for me.”
Little Yıldız’s heart filled with joy upon hearing this. At that moment, she understood that even the tiniest glimmer of light could give someone hope.
The following night, Little Star looked even brighter than before. Because now she believed in herself.
Grandma Moon smiled and
said, “See? Everyone who shares their light shines.”
From that day on, Little Star, no matter how small, continued to share her light every night. And thanks to her, the sky became a little brighter.
The moral of the fairy tale
Everyone has their own unique light. Being small doesn’t mean being worthless. Shared kindness and hope make the world a better place.
