Once upon a time… in a small and charming village nestled among green hills, there lived a curious cat named Mirmir . Mirmir had snow-white fur and sparkling eyes. But she had another characteristic: she was very impatient.
Mırmır loved milk the most. Every morning, my grandmother , the oldest and wisest woman in the village, would give him a small bowl of milk. My grandmother would always say:
“Mırmır, patience is more valuable than even the sweetest milk.”
But Mirmir didn’t pay much attention to these words.
Magic Bowl
One day, Grandma gave Mırmır a different bowl. This bowl was a little shinier than the others. When milk was poured into it, it shimmered slightly.
Mirmir immediately wanted to drink the milk. But at that moment, a soft sound was heard from inside the bowl:
“If you drink it without patience, the milk will spoil…”
Mirmir was surprised but didn’t care much. “I’m so thirsty!” she said, trying to drink the milk in one gulp.
But guess what happened?
The milk had vanished in an instant! The bowl was completely empty.
Mirmir looked into the bowl in surprise. She was still hungry.
The Lesson in the Forest
Feeling sad, he went to the forest near the village. There he met an old tortoise. The tortoise was walking slowly.
Mirmir asked impatiently:
“Why are you so slow? Can’t you go faster?”
The turtle smiled:
“It’s better to go slowly than to make a mistake.”
Mirmir thought for a moment. She remembered the milk from that morning. Maybe she really should be patient.
Second Chance
The next day, Grandma brought the magic bowl again.
“Would you like to try it today?” she said.
Mirmir took a deep breath. The milk was sparkling again. She wanted to drink it, but waited.
She counted, “One… two… three…”
The stone has become even shinier.
The milk hasn’t spilled over or disappeared. On the contrary, it’s multiplied! The bowl is full to the brim.
Mirmir drank it slowly. It was the sweetest milk she had ever tasted in her life.
The Moral of the Fairy Tale
From that day on, Mirmir learned not to be impatient.
Because she understood that:
Patience cultivates happiness.
Haste leads to missed opportunities.
Listening is the first step to learning.
And everyone in the village was surprised by Mirmir’s change.
Mırmır?
It seems she’s now not just drinking milk, but living life slowly and savoring every moment.
Three bowls of milk fell from the sky
one for those who are patient,
one for those who learn,
and one for the kind-hearted children who listened to this story…
