On a cold winter night, as snowflakes silently drifted from the sky, there was an unusual commotion in the Arctic. Santa Claus, stroking his long white beard, repeatedly read a small note he kept hidden in the pocket of his red coat.
The gifts were going to be a little different this year.
Because Santa Claus realized that children need not only toys, but also hope and love .
“Elves!” she exclaimed joyfully.
“This year we will bring an invisible gift to everyone.”
The elves looked at each other in astonishment. No toys? Trains, dolls, balls?
Santa Claus smiled.
“Of course there will be toys. But the real surprise will be left in hearts.”
When New Year’s Eve arrived, reindeer soared through the sky while Santa Claus silently descended from the chimney of every house. He left courage under one child’s pillow, patience in another’s heart, and peace in yet another’s home.
Little Elif smiled for the first time in a long time when she woke up that morning.
Ali, despite his fear, found the strength to speak up at school.
A mother and father, for reasons they didn’t understand, began to speak more softly.
No one saw Santa Claus.
But everyone felt that something had changed .
When Santa Claus returned to the North Pole, he took a deep breath.
“The best gifts,” he said to himself,
“are those that are left unwrapped.”
And from that day forward, every year on New Year’s Eve, a little surprise is always hidden among the stars shining in the sky
