Once upon a time, deep in the Far Forest, there lived a small wolf named Luna , but with a very big heart. What distinguished Luna from other wolves was that she never hesitated to confront the things she feared and always explored her surroundings with curiosity. Those who saw her said, “She’s small, but she has a big heart.”
Night of the Lost Lights
One night, the bright Silver Moon suddenly flickered and faded. Without moonlight, the forest was plunged into pitch darkness. As the animals panicked and tried to understand what had happened, Luna squinted up at the sky:
“Something is wrong… I must bring back the moonlight!” he said determinedly.
The other wolves were surprised:
“Luna, you’re small! A journey like this could be dangerous!”
But Luna smiled:
“Being small doesn’t mean I can’t be brave.”
Journey to the Silver Summit
Luna set out through the dark forest towards the mountain they called Silver Peak . Along the way:
- He calmed the little rabbit who was afraid of the rustling leaves,
- He rescued a hedgehog that was stuck in a thorn bush,
- He guided an old turtle who apologized for blocking the way.
As she helped everyone, the light inside Luna grew and began to illuminate the way.
Encounter with the Guardian of the Moon
When she reached the top, Luna saw the glowing silhouette of a giant wolf. It was Fenra, the Guardian of the Moon .
Fenra spoke sadly:
“The light of the Silver Moon has been stolen. I need the help of someone pure-hearted to bring the light back.”
Luna stepped forward bravely:
“I can help!”
Fenra looked at the sparkle in Luna’s heart.
“Can you face your fears, little wolf?”
Luna held her head high:
“Always!”
Valley of Shadows
Fenra led Luna to the Valley of Shadows, where the moonlight hid . There, Luna encountered the shadows of her own fears:
- Loneliness,
- Darkness,
- Fear of making mistakes.
But Luna approached them all one by one and said:
“I don’t deny my fears. I understand them… But I move forward anyway.”
With those words, the shadows dispersed, and Luna found the Silver Moon Piece shining brightly on the ground .
The Moon Shines Again
Luna gave the shard to Fenra. Fenra howled to the sky, and the moon shard rose back into the sky, completing the Silver Moon in all its glory.
When the moonlight illuminated the entire forest, Fenra turned to Luna and said:
“Little wolf… You are now the Brave Friend of the Moon,” he said.
Return to the Forest
When Luna returned to the forest, everyone applauded. But Luna just smiled:
“I just followed the light of my heart.”
From that day on, whenever someone sought courage in the forest, the following saying was said:
“Carry a piece of Luna’s light in your heart.”
