In a faraway land, there was a place called Soft Forest , where pine trees whispered to the sky and streams sang lullabies . In this forest, everyone slept soundly at night… everyone? No! Except for
Little Bear, Mirmir .
Mirmir was a very cute, chubby-cheeked, honey-smelling little bear. But whenever night came, his eyes just wouldn’t close.
He’d get into bed, pull the covers over his eyes, and close them…
But hop!
A thought would pop into his head.
“What if it rains tomorrow?”
“What if I dream of a huge bee?”
“What if I fall asleep and miss the forest?”
Little Bear sighed and tossed and turned his pillow.
One evening, his mother, Bear, came to him again and asked in her soft voice:
— Mirmir, has sleep not found you again?
“Yes, Mom… I guess sleep doesn’t like me,” Mirmir said sadly.
Mother Bear smiled.
“Perhaps sleep is looking for you, but you’re thinking too loudly,” she said.
This remark stuck in Mirmir’s mind.
The Sleep Search Journey
The next day, Mirmir decided, “I’m going to find sleep!” She grabbed her little backpack, put a honey sandwich inside, and set off into the forest.
He first met the Wise Turtle .
“Uncle Turtle, where does sleep live?” he asked.
The turtle smiled slowly.
— Sleep doesn’t like rushing, my son. First, you must learn to slow down.
Mirmir tried…
She walked slowly…
She breathed slowly…
But still, sleep didn’t come.
A little further on, the Chirpy Rabbit was hopping around.
“Rabbit, you’re so fast, but how do you sleep at night?” asked Mirmir.
“I run and play a lot during the day. When evening comes, my body wants to rest,” said the Rabbit.
Mirmir thought to herself,
“So, exercising is important too…”
The Owl’s Secret
As the sun began to set, Mirmir saw Sleepy Owl on a tree branch.
“Aunt Owl, do you know what sleep is?” she asked.
The owl blinked its eyes.
— Sleep is like a bird. If you are afraid, it flies away; if you are calm, it lands on your shoulder.
— So what should I do?
— You need to listen to your heart. You need to notice how you feel throughout the day.
Mirmir stopped for the first time and thought.
She had laughed…
She had been scared…
She had run…
She had been tired…
And everything was perfectly normal.

Homecoming
It was dark when Mirmir returned home. Her mother greeted her at the door.
This time, Mirmir was different.
She put on her pajamas.
She ate her honey sandwich.
She brushed her teeth.
She got into bed.
He took a deep breath…
And another…
“It’s not that sleep didn’t like me,” he thought.
“I just didn’t know how to listen to it.”
At that moment…
sleep came silently.
With its soft paws, it closed Mirmir’s eyes.
Sweet Dreams
In her dream, Mırmır played with the stars and talked to the moon.
And when morning came, she woke up smiling.
“Mom! I fell asleep!” she said happily.
Mother Bear hugged her.
“Sleep was always here,” she said. “You just learned to listen to yourself.”
