Once upon a time, in a forest filled with lush green grass, colorful flowers, and the chirping of birds, lived Little Rabbit Mino . Mino had soft, pure white fur, big ears, and curious eyes. But Mino had one little problem: he was easily frightened .
He would hide immediately if the wind blew a little too fast, and his heart would flutter at the slightest rustle of the branches. The other animals in the forest sometimes went on expeditions to distant places, but Mino never dared to stray too far from his den.
One morning the sun rose, shining like gold. Mino’s mother smiled and said:
“Dear Mino, we need to go to the carrot field today. But I’m a little busy. Could you bring the carrots this time ? “
Mino’s heart suddenly started beating rapidly. The carrot field was on the other side of the forest, and the path to get there seemed quite long.
“Can I… can I really go?” she whispered.
His mother stroked his head.
“Courage isn’t about not being afraid. It’s about being able to do what’s right, even if you’re afraid. ”
Mino took a deep breath. “Okay!” he said. “I’ll try!”
The journey begins!
Mino started walking slowly. At first, everything was normal. But suddenly, the bushes rustled .
“Ah!” Mino jumped up.
Then a little hedgehog came out of the bushes.
“Hello!” said the hedgehog, smiling. “Why were you scared?”
Mino was embarrassed. “I’m going to the carrot field, but I’m a little scared.”
The hedgehog said,
“Sometimes it’s normal to be afraid. But with every step you take, you become stronger. ”
Mino smiled and continued on his way.
Wise Turtle
A little further on was a stream. An old turtle was sitting by the stream.
The tortoise asked,
“Where are you going, little rabbit?”
“To the carrot field…” said Mino. “But the road seems very long.”
The turtle smiled.
“I walk very slowly. But I never stop . That’s why I always get where I want to go.”
Mino thought about it when he heard this.
“So, even small steps matter…”
And he kept walking.
Great Success
Finally, Mino reached the carrot field! Orange carrots were sprouting from the soil.
“I did it!” he exclaimed, jumping for joy.
He grabbed a huge carrot and started running home.
His mother was very happy to see him.
“See?” he said. “Sometimes courage begins with taking the first step. ”
Mino was now a little more confident. Because he understood that:
Fears are sometimes just a beginning. But if you walk with courage, happiness awaits at the end of the road.
