In the vast sky, there lived a cloud as soft as cotton. This cloud was unlike any other; its edges were fluffy. That’s why everyone called it the Fluffy Cloud . The Fluffy Cloud was very gentle, but also a little shy… Its biggest dream was to one day be able to do something truly useful for the sky.
Every night, as the sky darkened, Feathered Cloud would watch the sky below. Tiny houses, burning lamps, children falling asleep… They all seemed so distant to him, yet so fascinating.
One night, he noticed a different kind of light shining in the sky. It wasn’t yellow or white… it was a deep blue .
“Hello!” said the light. “I am the Blue Star.”
Fluffy Cloud exclaimed in surprise: “
Wow ! I’ve never seen you before!”
Blue Star smiled:
“I’ve only just begun to shine. But I have a problem…”
” What is it?” asked Fluffy Cloud curiously.
“The children downstairs are afraid of the dark. I want to be a light for them, but I’m not bright enough on my own.”
Fluffy Cloud thought for a moment. Then his eyes lit up:
“Maybe together we can do it!”
“How?” said Blue Star.
“I will embrace you gently. I will soften your light and spread it everywhere. It won’t be frightening; on the contrary, it will bring peace.”
Blue Star loved the idea. The Feathered Cloud slowly enveloped it. At that moment, such a beautiful sight formed in the sky… the light of Blue Star merged with the softness of the Feathered Cloud.
The children below looked at the sky through the window:
“Mommy, the sky is smiling!”
“I’m not scared anymore.”
When Fluffy Cloud heard this, his heart filled with joy.
“So we were useful!” he said.
Blue Star shone with joy:
“See how strong we are when we are together.”
From that night on, Feathered Cloud and Blue Star illuminated the sky together every evening. One with its gentleness, the other with its light…
And Fluffy Cloud learned this:
A seemingly small act of kindness, when combined with true friendship, can transform into immense happiness.
But all the children sleeping under the sky slept peacefully every night.
