Once upon a time…
beyond the Hills of Cheese, there was a tiny but very happy place called the Little Kingdom . The mice who lived in this kingdom lived in peace and prided themselves on their industriousness.
Living in this kingdom was a brave mouse named Pıtırcık , who was a little different from the other mice. Despite his small size, he had a huge heart. Pıtırcık’s biggest dream was to become a knight and protect his kingdom.
One day, a dark shadow fell over the kingdom.
Everyone looked on in fear because this shadow belonged to the Giant Cat Dragon Mirmirzor ! Mirmirzor was a very large, very furry dragon that breathed huge “MEOW!” sounds instead of fire from its mouth.
The mice hid immediately.
But Pıtırcık didn’t hide.
“Courage isn’t about being fearless,” he said to himself,
“it’s about doing the right thing when you’re afraid.”
Pıtırcık took his tiny sword, which was actually a sewing needle , and went to the cave where Mırmırzor lived.
“Oh, you giant cat-dragon!” he said, trembling.
“Why do you frighten our kingdom?”
Mirmirzor was surprised.
No one had dared to speak to him until today.
“I’m actually alone,” said Mirmirzor.
“Everyone is running away from me. That’s why I’m shouting.”
Little Pıtırcık thought for a moment and smiled.
“Why don’t you try talking instead of shouting?” he said.
“You can play games with us, you can be friends.”
The Giant Cat Dragon smiled for the first time.
Its fire had gone out, its voice had softened.
From that day forward, Mirmirzor became the protector of the kingdom,
and Pitterk was declared the youngest but wisest knight .
The mice learned this:
Strength isn’t about being huge; it’s about being understanding and courageous.
