The Cat Chasing Moon Cheese

A wordless 3D children's animation scene telling the story of Miskin, a cute black cat living under the moonlight, chasing moon cheese. A scene from Miskin's instructive and entertaining fairytale journey, where the curious cat mistakes a bear for cheese.

Once upon a time… in a faraway land, in a town where the roofs were closest to the sky, there lived a curious cat named Lazy . Lazy’s fur was as black as night, and his eyes shone like moonlight. His greatest passion was the moon , which appeared in the night sky .

A legend told by an old owl circulated in the town:

“The moon is actually a giant piece of cheese hanging in the sky.”

From the day he heard this, Lazy could think of nothing else. “If the moon is cheese,” he said to himself, “I must taste it!”

Every night, he would jump from roof to roof, trying to get a little closer to the moon. One night, the full moon was so bright in the sky that Sloth thought he could almost grab it with his paw. He made a long leap… and splash!
He fell into a puddle.

He was very surprised to see the shimmering reflection of the moon on the water. There were two moons!
“So the moons are multiplying,” he purred, “this must be a very bountiful cheese!”

Just then, a voice rose from the water. It was the voice of a sunfish :
“Hey cat,” said the fish, “The moon is not cheese. But it is very brave of you to try to reach it.”

The poor fellow bowed his head and
said, “I’m just curious. I want to know the taste of the sky, not the taste of the world.”

The Sunfish smiled:
“Then you should know that the secret of the moon is not in its taste, but in its light. That light guides those who lose their way at night.”

At that moment, Miskin looked up at the sky. The moon was still there, but it no longer looked like cheese; it looked like a warm and friendly lamp. A strange sense of peace enveloped him.

After that night, Miskin stopped chasing the bear. But every night he continued to sit on the edge of a roof and watch it. And the moon, as if recognizing him, shone a little brighter.

And from that day on, the saying went in the town:
“The moon gives more light to curious cats.”

And the story ends here,
Three cheeses fall from the sky…
One goes back to the moon
One goes to the one who listened to the story
And one goes into Lazy’s dream
